“ Had to get back one more time and the hours are extremely limited and the building is for sale. Get out here while you can. Owners present and still running a great staple of Lake County. Still making their famous salads and they are as good as ever. Dinners were lasagna and rotolo (best thing on menu). Plates, appetizer, drinks, tax and tip for under $100. Hard to find these days. Hope the next building owners continue the business concept. ”

“ We went to dinner here on 11/17/2023 and brought another couple who have never been to Salutos before. Our experience was very good. The service, food quality, and prices were very good. Our waitress was so busy and never forgot about us and always checked back in with our table. Loved seeing Bob and Mel - the restaurant was almost back to pre COVID capacity and things seemed to flow wonderfully. Thank you for a nice local Friday evening out. ”
“ Didn't want to cook and had a taste for Italian, we decided to go to Saluto's since we hadn't been in a while. As always the cocktails were very good. My wife had a melon martini, my son had some specialty cocktail, and I had a dirty martini. For entrees, my wife had the steak and rotolo, my son had a pepperoni pan pizza, and I had the lasagna. They have changed to serving individual salads instead of a big family bowl, but still tasty with their house green goddess dressing. Rolls were really good, too. All of us enjoyed our meals and had to take home what we couldn't finish. Service was great and we had a terrific time. Sure the prices have increased, but we can't expect the same prices from 30 years ago when we started patronizing this place when our server, Chris, was a high school friend of our niece. ”
“ Had the neighbors over and decided to make it easy and order out. Have not had a lot of good restaurant or order out experiences anywhere in the last couple years but pulled the trigger anyhow. Ordered 2 pizzas. 1st one was an Italian beef and giardiniera pan pizza with butter crust. 2nd pizza was sausage and mushroom thin butter crust with sweet sauce. Side salads with their homemade dressing. Best pizza I've had in years. Fantastic. Not cheap but definitely felt it was worth it. Salad and dressing was great. Neighbors asked where we ordered from as it was surprisingly good. Service was great. Ordered via phone call and was treated like family as I asked questions about the various options. Pizza was ready a few minutes early. This is a family owned and ran staple of the community. Nice people. Neighborhood feel. Overall great experience...long time coming. Keep up the great work. This will be my go-to pizza place going forward. ”
